Resilience Week is November 7th-13th!

Resilience is something that we talk about pretty often throughout our organization, especially in the field of Prevention Education. Not only is resilience important in children and youth, but also adults! It impacts how we form and build relationships, how we cope with day-to-day life and struggles that we might face. When it comes to getting the word out about the various ways to develop and build resiliency, we turn to our friends at Search Institute. They have over 40 years of data that supports the ways we teach, learn and build this skill. Check them out to learn more!

International Overdose Awareness Day

August 31st is International Overdose Awareness Day and we’re taking time to shed light on those we’ve lost. To remember the good moments and know that they are with us always, in a happier place. Our fight is long but over, but we’ve got the power to make great change and we won’t stop until we do.

Visit www.overdoseday.com to see all the ways, you can get involved!

Stay tuned to local events in your area, and share posts you see on social media. Use the #endoverdose hashtag in your posts.

World No Tobacco Day

An annual event that falls on May 31st in efforts to challenge people not to smoke. We’ve learned so much about tobacco over the years, that Smoke-Free Coalitions have been very hard at work to ensure our communities go smoke free!
